The race for the legislative seat in Wyoming Senate District 28 is one of two contested races in Natrona County. Republican, Jim Anderson, of Casper is in the running and faces Democrat Kim Holloway.

Anderson describes himself as a third generation Wyomingite who's worked in the state since he was 12 years old. He says he's currently self employed after nearly 40 years with Wyoming Machinery.

Anderson says constituents of the district are like any other, in that they want a strong state that's fiscally responsible and one that can offer jobs to the next generation. "Those are things that we're gonna be working on to make sure the University of Wyoming and Casper College and other junior colleges offer classes that are convertible to jobs in Wyoming."

Listen here for an extended interview with Jim Anderson of Casper, candidate for Wyoming Senate District 28..
