More than a few Casper golfers played in the Wyoming State Amateur tournament that was held at the Jacoby Course in Laramie back on Sunday. Kelly Walsh's Logan Hensley was the top Casper finisher in the men's championship flight taking 9th , shooting 9 over par for the tournament with rounds of 75-72-75. Taj Sutherland, another KW guy was 10th at +11 with rounds of 71-75-80. KW's John McGinley was the winner of the first flight at +11. He shot 70-73-81. Craig Reasoner finished at +21 shooting 80-75-79. Shea Hensley was at +29 in that first flight with scores of 89-71-82. Kaleb Spiva was on the board at +30 with rounds of 81-83-79. Natrona golfer James Bisiar finished at +37 going 91-80-79.

On the ladies side, former NCHS and current UW golfer Caitlyn Skavdahl was the top Casper finsher in the championship flight at +17 with rounds of 79-77-77. Kelly Walsh's Josie Olson ended up winning the first flight at +36 shooting 88-83-85. KW golfer Annalyse Johnson took first in the 2nd flight at +37, carding rounds of 86-90-79. Nicholynne Garbutt finished at +52 to take 2nd , Jessica Klugness was at +58 for 5th and Annie Keplar finished at +69 for 6th. Nicole Klugness took the top spot in the women's 3rd flight at +58/
