Day three of the State Track meet produced multiple state champions from our area athletes. Caige McComb of Kelly Walsh won both of the hurdle events, taking the 110 in 14.49 and the 300 in 41.07. Also from the Kelly Walsh boys contingent, Joey Zook took 3rd in the 100 and Darius Wiggins took 4th in the 400. The Trojans also finished 2nd in the 4x400 relay.

The Natrona boys received a 2nd place finish on Saturday from Chase Brachtenbach in the 100 and a 3rd place team finish in the 4x400 relay.

The Glenrock boys took 4th in the 2A team standings thanks to sprinter Tucker Bopp. He won the 200 meter dash and the 400 and missed winning the 100 meter dash by one one hundreth's of a second. The Herders also won the 4x400 relay

The Midwest boys took 3rd in 1A with a sensational performance by Kaleb Smith with two, 1st place finishes coming in the hurdle events. His time in the 110 that as 15.63 and 41.07 in the 300.

The Kelly Walsh ladies got a solid performance on Saturday from sophomore Taylor Rowe. She took 2nd in the 200 and 4th in the 100 in class 4A.. Kailey Walker earned a 2nd place finish in the triple jump.

The Natrona girls made the top of the podium in the shot put thanks to Kristi Dick who threw 41-10. Bre Beckley took 4th in the triple jump
