The Casper Police Department would like to extend congratulations to local alcohol vendors who don't sell to underage customers.

The Casper Police Department has released the results of their most recent alcohol sale compliance check.

Sergeant Steve Schulz said in an interview Thursday morning that generally in the past, the sale rate to the undercover minors was thirty to forty percent.

Of the thirty businesses involved in the compliance check, only three sold alcohol to the undercover minor.

Chief Walsh praised the efforts of the businesses who regularly check I.D.

Liquor dealers are being very responsible and they're checking IDs. Kids aren't getting it from formal liquor establishments

Casper Police will continue with the compliance checks to help ensure the restriction of underage alcohol sales.
