Natrona County Emergency Managers will make a limited number of bags available to residents at risk of flooding this Saturday.  If your concerned  call the Emergency Manager for your area to check on whether you qualify.

Managers will target areas and high value structures most at risk.

Bags and the sand to fill them will be available at stations located on both sides of town.

The west side location will be in the dirt parking lot located on Wyoming Blvd, across the street from the Natrona County Fair Grounds.

East side residence can go to the water fill station, on Coal Creek Rd just to the north of Hwy 20-26 US 87. That's the old Glenrock Highway.

Stations will be open from 9 AM to 5 PM on Saturday May 14th and again Saturday May 21st.

Presently North Platte river flows are between 5400 and 5700 Cubic feet per second.

The spillway at Pathfinder Reservoir is expected to have water flowing through it by the end of May. At that point, river levels may rise to last years level of 7000 (CFS).

The above conditions may change at any time due to changes in the weather that effect rate and amount of snow melt. All citizens should be aware of possible changes in river conditions.
