CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — The Highway Patrol says a 6-year-old girl is dead and seven of her relatives are injured following a rollover crash on Interstate 80 in southwestern Wyoming. Sgt. Stephen Townsend says Dynasty X. Barcenas of Plainfield, Ill., died following the early morning crash on Friday. Dynasty's family — three adults and the rest children — was en route from Illinois to California for a wedding.

SHERIDAN, Wyo. (AP) — Veterans in some rural Wyoming communities will be able to speak face-to-face with a veterans benefits counselor in Sheridan without driving long distances. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is participating in a TeleBenefits program in cooperation with the Sheridan VA Medical Center. The service will be available to veterans in Gillette, Powell, Worland, Evanston, Afton, Riverton, Casper and Rock Springs areas.

CODY, Wyo. (AP) — The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is offering free seminars on what people should do if they encounter a wolf, mountain lion or grizzly bear. Seminars will be held across the state in March and April. The purpose of the seminars is to increase awareness and understanding of bears, mountain lions and wolves.

LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) — The University of Wyoming Art Museum has acquired some art from Papua New Guinea. The art comes as a result of a gift from the Salgo Trust for Education. It consists of carved and painted wood and is based on traditional art from the rivers. The collection will be featured in the museum during an exhibition set to open March 31.
