A new wildfire is burning in the Bridger-Teton National Forest. County 10 News is reporting the fire was discovered Tuesday afternoon, and a large smoke plume is visible in the area. According to the County 10 News website:

According to Adam Long, manager at Brooks Lake Lodge, the fire is burning in the same area as last year’s Nolan fire. A spotter plane apparently has been dispatched to observe the fire.

The Fontenelle Fire in the Bridger-Teton National Forest has burned nearly 53,000 acres, with almost 700 personnel working that fire.
