A Massachusetts woman was arrested Sunday night after Albany County Sheriff's deputies stopped her SUV in Laramie and allegedly found $57,000 worth of marijuana inside.

Pauline Howe, 36, of New York, was arrested on charges of felony possession of a controlled substance and felony possession with intent to deliver.

Around 9 a.m. Sunday, deputies were told to be on the lookout for an SUV with Massachusetts registration driving down Interstate 80.

The alert indicated the SUV may have been transporting a large amount of marijuana and that the vehicle may have been headed through Laramie, according to a news release from the Albany County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies reportedly looked along the Laramie stretch of I-80 and eventually found the SUV. They stopped the vehicle near the Snowy Range exit in Laramie.
