The Cheyenne/Laramie County Emergency Management Agency will be testing the outdoor warning siren system Friday.

Sirens will sound at 10:00 a.m. in Pine Bluffs and at noon in Cheyenne and surrounding towns.  Sirens will sound for one to three minutes.

During an actual emergency, residents should seek shelter and tune into a local radio or TV station to receive additional information.

People should not call 911 or local emergency officials for information because it ties up phone lines needed for emergency operations.
