Thirty-one year old Kirk Steffey has been charged with DUI, driving without an interlock device, and two counts of leaving the scene, in which he's accused of being involved in a pair of vehicle collisions.

Casper police say on Friday afternoon March 9th, Steffey was driving the wrong way on E Street near Beverly, when he collided with another vehicle and a short time later, a sign at the Troopers Bingo Hall.

Witnesses told investigators that Steffey was the driver, and Steffey said he had been drinking earlier in the day.

A breathalyzer test showed that he had a blood alcohol content of point two-three.

Steffey is in jail on ten-thousand dollars bond, awaiting a preliminary hearing.

He is also facing child endangerment charges from an unrelated incident.

Prosecutors have said they will file a petition to have his bond revoked, in that matter.
