A Casper woman is now admitting she endangered her child.

Kaliegh Thomas has entered a guilty plea  to one charge of child endangerment meth, and one count of possession of a controlled substance.

According to prosecutors, in August, a probation officer was checking a residence where Thomas and her infant daughter were visiting.

When Thomas tried to leave, officers say they found meth inside her purse.

Prosecutors say Thomas also had several injection sites on her arms, which she claimed was from having blood drawn.

Officers said the injection sites seemed more consistent with drug use.

The child was taken into protective custody.

As part of a plea deal, prosecutors will seek a three-to-five year suspended prison sentence with three years of probation.

Thomas is being held on 10-thousand dollars bond, and will be sentenced at a later date.
