RELATIVES SAY OTTO WARMBIER DIED MONDAY. HE WAS SENTENCED TO 15 YEARS IN PRISON AFTER BEING ACCUSED OF TRYING TO STEAL A PROPAGANDA BANNER. HE ARRIVED IN OHIO ON JUNE 13 AFTER BEING HELD FOR MORE THAN 17 MONTHS. HIS FAMILY SAID IT WAS TOLD HE HAD BEEN IN A COMA SINCE SOON AFTER HIS SENTENCING.

AT ROOM TEMPERATURE, THE ‘THERMOCHROMIC’ TOTAL ECLIPSE OF THE SUN FOREVER STAMP DEPICTS A SOLAR ECLIPSE, BUT BECOMES AN IMAGE OF THE MOON FROM THE HEAT OF A FINGER. THE IMAGE REVERTS BACK TO THE ECLIPSE ONCE IT COOLS.
DAVID RUPERT, U.S. POSTAL SERVICE COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR, SAID THIS IS THE FIRST TIME THE POSTAL SERVICE HAS EVER USED THE TECHNOLOGY ON A STAMP.
RUPERT SAID THE ECLIPSE STAMP ITSELF AS WELL AS THE EVENT IT COMMEMORATES ARE WHAT MAKES THE STAMP SO SPECIAL.
THE UNVEILING TOMORROW WILL COINCIDE WITH A UW SUMMER SOLSTICE EVENT. VISITORS WHO ARRIVE AT 11:30 A.M. THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CHEYENNE SAYS LAST MONDAY'S STORM WAS THE WORST TO HIT SOUTHEAST WYOMING AND THE WESTERN NEBRASKA PANHANDLE IN 30 YEARS.
METEOROLOGIST CHAD HAHN (HAWN) SAYS 15 SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNINGS AND 23 TORNADO WARNINGS WERE ISSUED THROUGHOUT THE COURSE OF THE DAY.

"AS FAR AS NUMBER OF TORNADOES, WE HAVE AT LEAST EIGHT CONFIRMED ACROSS SOUTHEAST WYOMING AND THE WESTERN NEBRASKA PANHANDLE. THERE ARE A COUPLE MORE THAT WE'LL LIKELY ADD THAT WE'VE SEEN VIDEOS OF OF OCCURRENCE, SO WE'RE LOOKING PROBABLY AT RIGHT AROUND A DOZEN TOUCHDOWNS AT LEAST ACROSS OUR AREA."

HAHN SAYS THREE OF THE TORNADOES WERE RATED EF-2, INCLUDING THE ONE THAT TOUCHED DOWN SOUTHEAST OF CARPENTER. HE SAYS MOST OF THE TORNADOES PRODUCED DAMAGE, BUT LUCKILY ONLY TWO PEOPLE WERE INJURED.
