A Casper teen is heading to jail after he admitted to stealing equipment from a school.

Nineteen year old Justin Drinkwalter was given first time offender status, as well as one-to-five years of probation, after he pleaded guilty to one felony count of burglary,

A number of Ipad touch screen computer laptops and a projector screen were stolen.

Police later found that they had been pawned, and upon recovering and activating them, the ID on one of the computer’s showed Drinkwalter’s email address and another displayed his name.

A pawn shop employee also said a drywall repair tool had been pawned, and it turned out, that originally belong to repair crews, trying to fix the damage done, during the first break-in.

The license plate of the vehicle that Drinkwalter was driving at the time the items were pawned, was recorded, and investigators also obtained video from the break-ins, which showed Drinkwalter, along with 18-year old Dallas Judkins.

When questioned by officers, both Drinkwalter and Judkins confessed.

If Drinkwalter completes his term of probation, the felony conviction will be cleared from his record.
