A Casper man is back in prison after violating his probation.

Jonathan Jelsma has been sentenced to four to six years at the Wyoming State Penitentiary, after his probation was revoked for leaving Natrona County without permission.

In 2008, Jelsma pleaded guilty to aiding and abetting an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

It was an incident where prosecutors say he and another person, beat Johnny Moody who later died, however Jelsma was not the one who delivered the fatal blow.

Jelsma was originally sentenced to prison with a boot camp requirement.

Once he completed that, his sentence was reduced to four years of probation.
