Johnny Sands Sentenced For 2nd Degree Sexual Assault On A Minor

A Casper man has been sentenced for having sexual relations with a minor.

24-year old Johnny Sands, will spend the next 5-10 years with the Wyoming Department of Corrections, after pleading guilty to 2 counts of 2nd degree sexual assault of a minor.

Police say that between March and April of this year, Sands engaged in sexual intercourse twice with a 13-year old girl.

He has also been sentenced to the Wyoming boot camp program, and will receive substance abuse counseling.
