A Worland man faces a long prison sentence on sexual abuse charges.

Thirty-two year old Jason Davis was ordered to serve 45-to-50 years at the Wyoming State Penitentiary, followed by a 9-to-12 year suspended prison sentence with 12 years of probation, after entering an Alford Plea to one charge of First Degree Sexual Abuse of a Minor and one charge of Sexual Exploitation of a Child.

Investigators say Davis was having a number of sexual encounters with an elementary school aged child in Casper, from March of 2010 through August of 2011.

Prosecutors say in at least one instance, he videotaped the act.

With an Alford Plea, Davis does not admit he committed the act, but agrees prosecutors have enough evidence to convict him.

Davis is also facing one charge of First Degree Sexual Abuse of a Minor in Worland, and has not yet been sentenced in that case.
