A registered sex offender in Natrona County, is heading back to prison after admitting that he re-offended.

Twenty-eight year old James Jaure was sentenced to 16-to-19 years in prison, after pleading guilty to two counts of second-degree sexual abuse of a minor and one count of third-degree sexual abuse of a minor.

At least three victims told investigators that during the course of the past year, they became friends with Jaure, because they believed he was a volunteer youth group leader at a Casper church.

Prosecutors say he was a janitor and was using an alias.

The victims say at various times, Jaure attempted, or committed various sexual acts with them.

Jaure was convicted of similar sex crimes in Cheyenne in 2004.

He was sentenced to two terms of 16-to-19 years, for the two second-degree charges, and 13-to-15 years for the third degree charge.

All of the sentences will be served concurrently.
