A Natrona County man accused of giving an infant a skull fracture, will be spending time in prison.

Jacob Sayler was sentenced to six-to-eight years in prison, after entering an Alford Plea to one charge of aggravated child abuse.

Investigators with the Natrona County Sheriff's Office say in June, Sayler was looking after his girlfriend's five-month old daughter.

Sayler told investigators that he was having a difficult day, and just snapped, because his upstairs neighbors were being loud and the infant kept crying.

He had also been drinking during the day, and said he eventually lost it, and hit the infant three times across the face and forehead, threw a bottle of formula at her, and then picked her up by the arm and threw her onto a bed.

Medical examiners later determined that the infant had a skull fracture and internal brain bleeding.
