A Casper man is accused of trying to illegally obtain prescription medication.

Jacob Large is facing three counts of prescription fraud, after prosecutors say he tried to add on to a prescription.

Investigators say on Tuesday June 12th, Large went to a pharmacy to have a prescription filled, but employees got suspicious about one of the prescribed medicines.

They attempted to contact the doctor to verify, and later received a voice mail from what turned out to be Large, impersonating the doctor and gave the ok.

When interviewed, the doctor provided a copy of the original prescription, which did not have the third medication on it.

Large later admitted to police to forging a third medication, and trying to impersonate his doctor.

He is being held on five-thousand dollars bond, awaiting trial.
