A passing weather system will combine with monsoonal moisture to create shower and thunderstorm activity today.  The best chance for showers and thunderstorms will be in western and southern parts of the state.  There is also a small chance for strong to severe weather, mainly in far eastern parts of the state.  Any storms that develop in this area could be capable of producing small hail, gusty winds, and heavy rain at times.  Temperatures will also remain warm and close to average for this time of year.  Daytime highs today will stay in the 70's and 80's.  Expect mainly isolated thunderstorms throughout the state on Friday and Saturday.
