One person suffered minor injuries at a house fire, that happened on the south side of Casper on Sunday afternoon, July 27th.

"At approximately 3:15 in the afternoon, crews responded to the report of a structure fire, on the 2100 block of East 24th Street. Initial crews arrived to find a single family dwelling, with heavy smoke and flames showing from the garage, with living quarters above. we did have reports that there was one occupant at home, at the time of the fire."

Casper Fire EMS spokesperson Craig Kidder says fire crews were on scene for about two hours, before turning the situation over to investigators.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
