Indiana Man Dies In Salt Creek Highway Crash
Alcohol may be a contributing factor in a fatal accident off of Salt Creek Highway Wednesday around 2 am.
The Wyoming Highway Patrol reports that 20-yr-old Joseph M. Janiga of of Indiana was driving southbound on Wyoming Highway 254 near the intersection of Coleman Circle when he lost control on a curve. Janiga crashed into a ditch hitting a concrete retaining wall.
According to the report, the airbags in the Honda Civic deployed on impact but, Janiga, who was not wearing a seat belt, was partially ejected through the front windshield.
He died at the scene. His passenger, 27-yr-old Jerry Baxter of Texas was hospitalized at Wyoming Medical Center.
