Southwesterly winds will continue to transport moisture into the region today.  This increase in moisture will combine with an upper level weather system to create showers and thunderstorms later this afternoon and evening.  Expect isolated thunderstorm activity throughout the state, but western, northern and far eastern Wyoming have the best chance for seeing showers and thunderstorms.  There is a small chance for strong thunderstorms today, especially in far eastern parts of the the state, with any thunderstorm being capable of producing small hail, gusty winds, and heavy rain at times.   Temperatures will stay warm and close to average statewide with daytime highs remaining in the 70's and 80's.  There will continue to be a chance for showers and thunderstorms again on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
