The Casper Horseheads college baseball team split a doubleheader in Spearfish, South Dakota on Wednesday night. The Horseheads lost the first game 10-4 while managing just 4 hits. Dalton Mauldin went 2-4 with an RBI and Charles Steele went 2-3. Casper pitcher Jesse Carr lasted just 2 and third innings and gave up 6 runs and walked 5.  The Horseheads came through a 6-4 win in the nightcap of the twinbill as James Colyer had 2 hits and 3 runs batted in. Collin Chaney homered in the contest while pitcher Josh Overstreet struck out 12 in just 6 innings of work. The Horseheads are 10-23 on the year and will host Spearfish at Lansing Field tonight at 6:30.
