The Casper Horseheads college baseball team split a doubleheader with Western Nebraska in Gering last night. The Horseheads lost the first game 9-2

 as they managed just 4 hits. Brady Van Hook went 1-3 with an RBI. Western Nebraska scored 3 times in the first, 3 times in the 3rd and 4 times in the 4th. Pitcher Chaz DeLuca gave up 9 runs and 11 hits in 6 innings of work. Casper did come back to win the nightcap 6-2 with 4 runs in the 3rd inning. Collin Chaney went 2-3 with 2 runs batted in and a run scored. Pitcher Josh Overstreet gave up 2 runs and 3 hits over 6 innings. Casper is 17-41 in Expedition League play and will be in Gering again tonight
