Horseheads Rally Comes Up Short

The Casper Horseheads lost a 5-4 decision to the Hastings Nebraska at Lansing Field under pleasant weather conditions on Monday night.. Hastings scored all their runs in the 6^th inning, Casper tallied once in the 1^st and 3 times in the bottom of the 9^th but the rally fell short. Derek Almanza went 2-4 with an RBI for Casper. Dalton Mauldin went 1-4 with 2 RBI’s with Robert Cruz going 2-4 with a run batted in. On the mound, Hayden Baker threw 5 innings and gave up 5 runs and 7 hits.  The Horseheads are 12-26 in the Expedition League play and will be in Hastings, Nebraska Wednesday night
