The Casper Horseheads collegiate baseball team has lost 3 in a row as they were beaten by Western Nebraska at Lansing field last night 7-1. The Horseheads pushed across a run in the bottom of the 9th as Conner Lowrie went 2-4 with an RBI. Pitching wise, Casper’s Jesse Carr went 3 innings but Western Nebraska scored 5 runs, but just one of them earned. The Horseheads are 4-7 and will be at Western Nebraska in Gering tonight.

The club also officially named Jason Carbonneau as their new manager who will replace Josh Hogan who unexpectedly resigned earlier this week. Cabonneau was on the staff of the Aberdeen, South Dakota franchise of the Expedition League.  He played his college baseball at Husson College in Bangor, Maine
