In collegiate baseball, the Casper horseheads were swept in a doubleheader yesterday at Lansing field, losing the first game 11-5 and dropping the nightcap 8-1 to Western Nebraska. In the first game of the twinbill, Western Nebraska scored 5 times in the 4th inning. Casper pitcher Stirling Strong gave up 8 runs in 3 and third inning. At the plate, Andrew Garcia went 2-4 with an RBI. In the nightcap, Western Nebraska scored 3 times in the 5th and 2 more in the 7th.  Casper’s Charles Steal went 2-3 with a run scored.  The Horseheads are 4-6 on the year and will host Western Nebraska on Wednesday night at Lansing Field.
