Head up the mountain Saturday morning and be part of preservation and beautification of Hogadon Ski Area. The 18th Annual Tune-Up was postponed due to the Sheep Herder Hill fire and moved to this Saturday, September 29th, 8:30 a.m.until noon.

Alan Kieper, with Casper Leisure Services Department says the event usually draws in about 40 to 50 volunteers. "Some of them are part of the user's groups up there like Casper Mountain Racers or the Ski School, or even the ski patrol. And others are just skiers that volunteer their time."

Kieper says they'll be picking up litter off the slopes, spreading wood chips around the lifts, and painting ski racks, amongst other projects.

Afterwords, enjoy free food, an opportunity to meet new people, and win prizes from local participating businesses.

Children under 12 must have an adult present to participate.
