A heavy amount of smoke rolled into Casper this morning, but there are no fires in Natrona County or the immediate area. A cold front rolled into the region this morning, and atmospheric conditions helped carry smoke from wildfires in northeast Wyoming and southern Montana into the area.

City and county fire officials say dispatchers were inundated with calls, and remind everyone that 911 is for emergency use only. Those calling 911 about the smoke could delay police, fire and rescue personnel from responding to an actual emergency.
