Just The Fact Please, that's  the title of an upcoming symposium aimed at anyone who wants to know more about the Affordable Care Act.

It's a one day program on September 13th that will make available health care professionals and policy experts to answer questions.  Barb Rea,  forum organizer for the group 'One Health Voice' says they'll talk about what is and what isn't in the new health care law.

"This is open to the general public, to anybody who works with populations that are at risk of losing their health insurance or who don't have health insurance, people who have trouble finding and affording insurance. We're gonna be hearing from national, regional, and state experts on health care access and on the Affordable Care Act."

Rea says there will be plenty of time to ask questions and to hear from experts about what's in the law, whats going to be changing, and when.

She says the lunch time keynote speaker is best selling author, T.R Reid, who authored a book called "Healing of America".  Other speakers include the president of the Council for Affordable Health Insurance, the regional director for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and Governor Matt Mead's health policy advisor.

The forum cost $25, but Rea says, they don't want that to stop anyone from coming.

"You can register at the door, but we're encouraging preregistration and you can register online.  And there are scholarships available. We certainly wouldn't want cost to keep anyone from attending."

Just the Facts Please, Heath Care Symposium takes place at the Ramada Plaza Riverside, in Casper, Tuesday, September 13th, 8:30 to 5pm.
