A Glenrock man is dead after a head-on collision with another vehicle north of Glenrock.

Wyoming Highway Patrol Sgt. Steven Townsend says 29-year-old Robert Day was driving northbound on Wyoming Highway 95 at around 3:45 p.m. Monday when his car made contact with a guardrail. Day then overcorrected and crashed head-on into the southbound pickup of 36-year-old Shane Brow.

Day was pronounced dead at the scene. Brow was taken to an area hospital.

Officials with the highway patrol say neither man wore a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

The Monday accident temporarily closed WYO 95. The highway patrol says drugs and alcohol may have been contributing factors.
