JACKSON HOLE, Wyo. (AP) — Grand Teton National Park officials say they will not plow the roads they maintain while winter storms are striking.

The park changed its policies so once officials close a road due to unsafe conditions, it will remain closed for all uses.

Park officials say a section of Highway 89 between Moose and Moran is the most likely road to close during snow storms. The park also maintains parts of Highway 26 and Highway 191 in western Wyoming.

Officials say the roads will be assessed individually, so the same road might not be closed during each storm.

The park's snow plow crews will generally play a cleanup role after storms pass.
