Governor Matt Mead joined Brian Scott this morning in his monthly visit to talk about issues in front of the State of Wyoming. On of those is the reinstatement of Superintendent Cindy Hill and the issues surrounding the recent Supreme Court ruling.

The Governor was asked about a time frame for reinstatement,

The last court statement was it could take a month or so.

How about the legislature calling a special session to deal with the ramifications?

It changed so many of the existing statutes and the authority on those statutes, I think they are looking at that to get it all cleaned up.

And defining the job of the Superintendents office in preparation for an election this fall,

I think if the court gets an order out it will help clarify what the duties and roles are of the superintendent.

Listen to these questions and answers in their entirety here.
