Girl Scouts of Montana and Wyoming (GSMW) welcomes several new staff to its team which provides programs to more than 8,000 girls across 245,000 square miles.

Sara Rust joins GSMW as its Community Development Manager for southeastern Wyoming. Rust has a business management degree from Ohio Christian University.

Tara Fairbanks has joined GSMW as its Girl Scout Leadership Experience Manager for southeastern Wyoming. Fairbanks has a BS in Psychology from Boise State University and an Associate’s degree in addictionology from Casper College. Fairbanks enjoys the outdoors and spent several years working with a faith based girls camp in Pocatello, Idaho.

While Rust and Fairbanks’ office is located in Casper at 428 South Durbin Street, their region includes the counties of Natrona, Converse, Niobrara, Albany, Platte, Goshen and Laramie.

Both are excited to expand the Girl Scout program in southeast Wyoming but say the key to doing so is volunteers. Volunteering opportunities with Girl Scouts are tailored to fit your schedule, your skills, and your interests. As a volunteer, you'll introduce girls to new experiences that show them they're capable of more than they ever imagined.

Girl Scouts is the number one leadership organization for girls and women in the world; building girls of courage, confidence and character, who make the world a better place.

In addition to the Casper office, GSMW has seven other service centers and offices. In Wyoming, GSMW offices are also located in Gillette and Evanston. GSMW headquarters is located in Billings, Montana. Other Montana regional offices include Bozeman, Great Falls, Kalispell, and Missoula.
