Colonoscopy is getting promotion from some unlikely sources of late. (Think Ozzie Ozbourne)

We're about half way through National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month and one Wyoming survivor is piping in to encourage screening by colonoscopy.

Diana Enzi, wife of our U.S. Senator Mike Enzi, speaks from personal experience when she talks about the disease.

"Its really very much a silent cancer. Most people don't know they have it until they're so far along that it makes treatment much more vicious and long and sometimes not successful."

Diana Enzi is a colorectal cancer survivor and so she speaks with authority when she says its important to get screened.

She points out that the inconvenience of the process is minimal compared with the inconvenience, cost, and risk of a cancer diagnosis.
