A strong ridge of high pressure overhead will continue to dominate our weather for the next several days.  Many locations will experience a taste of summer heat today through Wednesday as temperatures rise into the 80s and 90s, with 70s for the higher elevations.  There will be a few isolated gusty thunderstorms later today, especially around the mountains.

The heat continues on Tuesday.  We will add some wind to the forecast as well.  Strong, gusty mainly southwest winds could gust up to 35 and 40 mph at times in some areas.  Stretches of I-80 and areas around and including Casper will experience the most in the way of wind.  Thunderstorms on Tuesday will mainly be found in the northern third of the state.  Far northeast Wyoming could be in line for strong to severe thunderstorms.
