Natrona County Master Gardeners is proud to host the 2013 Garden Gait walking tour on Saturday, July 13th. The tour will be held from 10am-1pm and 4pm-7pm. The Garden Gait consists of eight distinct and beautiful home landscapes in Casper’s “Big Tree” area near Grant Street. This year’s theme, Food, Fountains and Fun, will become apparent to the attendees as they stroll through each yard.

Event goers will have the opportunity to take a self-guided morning or afternoon walking tour through all eight yards at their own pace. Volunteer Master Gardeners will serve as yard docents at each home and will be available to assist and answer questions.

Jacie Gentry, the 2013 Garden Gait Chair said,

“We’ve had the privilege of working with a terrific group of homeowners that have spent many hours in their yards and gardens developing them into what the public will see on the day of the event. Our hope is that attendees will enjoy a day of lovely gardens while also taking this as an opportunity to educate themselves about various trees, flowers, plants and gardening techniques that they may be able to apply in their own home landscapes

Tickets are $20 per person and will be available through July 13th at the following locations in Casper: Cadillac Cowgirl, Galles Greenhouse, Grant Street Grocery, Johnny Appleseed, Keefe’s Flowers, Marvel Floral Art, Nate’s Flowers, Sadler’s Hallmark and the Master Gardener Office on Fairgrounds Road.
