A garage fire in Paradise Valley Thursday morning was quickly extinguished thanks to a fast response from Casper-Fire-Ems.

Spokesman, Craig Kidder, says the call came at around 9:45 in the morning , of a single detached garage on Jasmine street that had light smoke coming from the eaves.

"They were able to make entry to the rear of the structure and put out a small fire. It was still in the growth stage. They made a really good stop and they were able to actually save some of the contents of the garage itself."

Kidder says there was major smoke damage. He says no one was injured, the family was not displaced and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
