CODY, Wyo. (AP) — The Wyoming Game and Fish Department has trapped and relocated a grizzly bear from a ranch north of Cody.

The game department trapped a bear Nov. 10 east of the Absaroka Front, north of Cody. The bear was released north of Moran, in an area that's already occupied by grizzly bears.

Grizzly bears can move long distances in a short time and officials at the game department say a relocated bear probably won't stay near its release site.
