Funds are still available for licensed child care providers needing assistance with facility upgrades. The Child Care Facility Loan program through the Wyoming Business Council is designed to help providers upgrade things like, plumbing, handicap access or lighting.

Julie Kozlowski with the business council says ultimately they want to help providers expand their services and she says they also want to make the process as easy as possible.

"The Wyoming Business Council staff and the staff of the Wyoming Women's Business Center, the Small Business Development Centers are all available to help potential applicants meet the requirements."

Kozlowski says the program is available to both home-based and center-based providers and can be used to help a potential child care provider reach licensure.

A pre-loan questionnaire needs to be submitted by February 29th with a full application made by March 30th.
