LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) — Recent arctic temperatures broke several water pipes at the University of Wyoming, resulting in floods at the Coe Library and at the student health center.

The health center remains closed.

In addition, burst pipes also affected the Washakie Dining Center, the History Building, the State Veterinary Laboratory, the Indoor Practice Facility and the Visual Arts Building.

Most of the breaks happened late Tuesday night into early Wednesday morning as temperatures dropped below 30 degrees below zero.
