One former 'Friends of The Library' board member believes she's just one of many Casper citizens who don't want the Natrona County Public Library to be moved.

Charlotte Babcock, made her case to the County Commissioners Tuesday afternoon suggesting there should be more effort to find an alternative to library expansion that would keep the facility where it is.

Relocating the library, she fears, will bring among other disadvantages, a loss of downtown foot traffic. Babcock also notes "how the city enhanced Beech St between the Nicolayson and the library and how a library and museum go so beautifully together."

County Commissioners urged her to bring her concerns to the Citizen Led Task Force who meet again Wednesday evening, 6:30pm, in the library's Crawford room where they'll continue discussing a proposed new library, its location and how to pay for it.
