Natrona County foster families and their children get an early dinner with Santa on December 6th.  Rose Fry is, Foster Parent Coordinator for the Department of Family Services in Natrona County and she says the annual event started small, about 8 years ago, and has grown significantly since then.

"This is the largest gathering of foster families in Natrona County of the year. Its a huge social thing and its wonderful."

The potluck dinner serves over 200 and brings Santa in to deliver a specially selected gift for every child.

If you'd like to get involved and sponsor a gift for a child, give Rose Fry a call at the Department of Family Services, at  473 3924 or you can email her at rose.fry@wyo.gov

The Natrona County foster family dinner with Santa is Thursday, December 6th, 6pm  to 8pm at the Parkway Plaza.
