A candle light event at the Fort Caspar Museum returns for a second season on November 30th and December 1st. It's a 19th century frontier-life-by-candlelight experience. Museum Manager Rick Young, says its a chance to kick off the holidays with a step back in time. It happens 5:30 to 8:30 each evening and you can drop in as suits your schedule.

"Most of the time you see the Fort in the summer and in the day time and yet we know that people lived here through the winter in the 1860s. So this is an event that gives you an opportunity to see the Fort at night, to see it lit by candlelight."

The event also features period actors who bring the setting to life. The event is free and no reservations are necessary.

For more information call the Museum at 235-8462 or check their website at www.fortcasparwyoming.com. The museum is open Tuesday - Saturday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Admission for children 12 and under is FREE; Youths 13-18 are $1.00 and Adults 19 & over are $1.50. Fort Caspar Museum is located at 4001 Fort Caspar Road, Casper, WY 82604.
