Tuesday evening was Tom Forslund's last city council meeting before he heads to Cheyenne to start a new job as director of the Wyoming Department of Health.

The special appearance of almost every mayor that Forslund worked with over the years had been kept a secret.  Here's Current Mayor Paul Bertoglio.

"I've invited a few old faces to join us tonight representing the first councils you worked with ... Mayor Jack Kelly, 1987."

Forslund was obviously touched by the show of so many of his former bosses.

The first full term mayor that he worked with was Richard Shamley.

"Mayor Klapp and I were the leadership at the time that hired Tom- probably the only good thing I did. What I always remember about Tom Forslund, when Larry and I first talked to him we had not dismissed the city manager, that was Tom's boss.  And he said, "I'm sorry I can't talk with you, my ethics prohibit me from talking to you until we do not have a city manager." I was impress by that and his ethics have stayed with him ever since."

If you want a chance to say good bye to out going city manager Tom Forslund,  a special send off open house happens this Friday in the  City Hall atrium.

The public is invited to come join in the farewell event that's 3 to 6pm Friday, March 4th.
