Larry Clapp, who served as Casper’s mayor in the 80s, faces felony charges for alleged possession of child pornography.

Clapp was arrested on Wednesday, and appeared in court on Thursday. Court records indicate Clapp faces two felony charges for possession of child pornography. During the appearance in Natrona County District Court, Clapp’s bond was set at $10,000, and he was ordered to surrender his passport. He was also ordered to inform the court if he had any travel plans that would take him out of the state.

Clapp, a Casper attorney, served as the city’s mayor in 1988, and also served in the state legislature for two years.
