Officials say a long-requested flight information system is now in place at the Casper-Natrona County International Airport.

Airport manager Glenn Januska says a pair of departure and arrival monitors were installed in the airport lobby last Tuesday.

Janauska says the screens not only display arrival and departure information, but the location of Casper-bound aircraft in the Rocky Mountain region.

“The next screen actually shows a map of this portion of the country, and it also shows the aircraft en route,” Januska said. “Passengers that are here don’t have to worry about what the flight status is – they can get the information in real-time.”

Januska says both monitors were installed on Tuesday. Online flight information has been available through the airport's website since 2009.
