UPDATE: The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning for Converse County, Wyoming until 5:39 pm.

CHEYENNE, WYO. (AP) — SOUTHEASTERN WYOMING COULD GET HEAVY RAIN FROM A STRONG STORM SYSTEM MIXING WITH SEASONAL MONSOON MOISTURE.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WATCH STARTING AT NOON TUESDAY FOR THE REGION. IT SAYS SLOW MOVING SHOWERS WILL DEVELOP ALONG THE LARAMIE RANGE AND DROP BETWEEN 1 AND 2 INCHES OF RAIN THROUGH EARLY WEDNESDAY. RAINFALL IN SOME SPOTS COULD BE HIGHER.
