Esther George, the new President and CEO of the Tenth Federal Reserve District in Kansas City will be coming to Wyoming to Speak in Casper on Tuesday, May 8th.  Ms. George became president on October 1st and this is her first official visit to Wyoming.  Prior to her becoming president she was the bank’s first vice-president and also served as the acting director of the Federal Reserve’s Division of Banking Supervision and Regulation.  She has been responsible for the District’s 170 state-chartered member banks and nearly 1000 bank and financial holding companies. Bill Schilling with the Wyoming Business Alliance joined us this morning to talk about Ms George's visit.

Following Esther George’s presentation will be an Economic Indicators Panel involving overviews of the Casper and Central Wyoming economy.  These panelists will include Nathan Bekke, Casper Star Tribune and Wyoming Business Council board member; Fred Bronnenberg, Groathouse Construction; and John Dill, Chesapeake Energy.
